Custom Painting... Journey!

I've been patiently waiting to post photos of a recent custom painting I worked on.
Luckily, my happy client was so excited she surprised her hubby early with his new birthday painting! The idea was entirely hers -- and a wonderful one at that! It was a joy to paint!

What To Do... Clocks!

Another round of WEDNESDAY'S WHAT TO DO...
After our party this weekend, it was pointed out to me that half of the clocks in our home
have not yet Sprung Forward! Oops. So.... with clocks on the brain, I figured why not explore
some creative to-do's for clocks! Enjoy!

I had one of these "Backwards Clock" years ago & loved it! If you hold it to a mirror it tells the real time, and after a while I got pretty good at reading it backwards :) It ticks backwards too!

All-Holiday Party!

On Saturday, Mach 26th, we hosted our

2nd Annual All-Holiday Party!
Soooooo much fun!!!!

Basically, the way this developed was after a New Year's Eve party, I was a bit bummed that it would be a while before the next "holiday" soooo, I figured why wait! Why not see what happens when we combine them ALL into one night :) just picture the possibilities...
The details are simple: *pick ANY holiday you want... commit to it... dress for it... BE your holiday!

Here's the orginal doodle I created prior to the first party!

This year, I decided to finally create my own cupcake toppers (which I've been wanting to try for a while now)! I used the wonderful Wacom Intuos4 Large Pen Tablet to draw the pictures, and this little device is quickly becoming my NEW best friend!

Back by popular request... my family's SUMMER PIZZA!
(crescent roll base + cream cheese mixture + lots veggies)

While brainstorming something for the 4th of July, I came up with these super easy DIY Flags!
I found some red, white & blue pipecleaners - then just cut & twist.

Bradford is a dear friend of mine, who I was fortunate enough to create this new blog header for (above). I can seriously listen to his music for hours on end and love when I am able to attend his live shows! I actually recently discovered that of nearly 4,000 songs on my iPod, 5 of his are on my "top 25 listened to songs" list. He is one talented man!
