Danielle
was a student of mine when I fell in love with her artwork. My husband
and I decided that we wanted our nursery to “come to life” so that our
babies would have the wonder of Pooh all around them. Not only did
Danielle paint one entire nursery (all four walls!) once, but when we
moved, we were heartbroken that our firstborn only enjoyed the murals
for less than six-months. We had Danielle come to our new home and she
painted Pooh and Friends for us again. It has truly been a magical place
for all three of our girls. They have pointed at the characters and
named them off – some of the names were some of the girls’ first words.

Danny and I were aiming for a simple wedding and engagement
without much fuss, but when we found out our friend Danielle would be
willing to do engagement photos, we were all about it! Quickly we began
brainstorming places that were meaningful to us both. With the locales
of the elementary school I work at, the downtown mall of
Charlottesville (where we found each other), The Paramount theater where
we volunteer, and the farm (which is the locale for our May wedding),
these turned out so personal.
It was hard to choose a favorite - or even three!! -
but Danielle somehow seemed to capture "us" a midst our newbie modeling
and chuckles at ourselves. We have them to cherish forever in a sweet
little book to share with our friends and family at the wedding.

I attended Longwood University with Danielle and I was always really
impressed with the artwork she created. When I started selling ceramics
on etsy.com and at craft
shows, I knew I was going to need a logo to get my image out there and
this business started. I knew without a doubt, that Danielle was the
person who would help me come up with the most creative logo that made
sense for me. The logo that we decided on has been more than I would've
ever imagined. I constantly receive compliments on my logo, as well as
the simplicity of it. It is to the point and I am beyond thrilled with
